Holly Willoughby weight loss continues as This Morning star shows off skinny figure
The telly presenter’s shrinking frame has been noticed by her fans
The This Morning presenter, 36, looks remarkably different in recent weeks, having lost weight from her face and body – and everyone wants to know how she’s achieved her transformation.
It was revealed that a gentle form of exercise after the birth of her second child Belle in 2011 helped Holly regain her figure, with pilates guru Lynne Robinson of Body Control Pilates instructing her once a week in the correct postures.
Lynne told The Sun how pilates can be used by new mums to knit together the abdominal muscles after pregnancy by focusing on aligning the spine and tightening the core.
“I worked with Holly for several months, teaching her privately at her home once a week,” Lynne revealed.
“Holly had postnatal mat work classes which concentrated on strengthening and toning her core. The exercises help trim the waist and flatten the stomach.”
But while pilates has helped Holly retain her figure – and no doubt helped her ping back into shape after the birth of her third baby, son Chester, in September 2014 – it doesn’t explain her recent weight loss.
However, Holly isn’t likely to start talking about her diet and fitness regime anytime soon, because she wants to continue being a good role model for her fans.
“I don’t want to encourage eating disorders. I try not to focus too much on my appearance,” she told the Daily Mail in December 2016.
“I’m quite active and I try not to let the way I look be the main focus because it’s not the important thing.”
Holly said that her past experience interviewing people with eating disorders has made her aware of how they can ‘fixate’ on diet tips, particularly on online chat rooms.
“I just can’t contribute to that,” she added.
Instead, the mum of three focuses on eating for pleasure and cooks a “very good spaghetti”, she said.
But not all her fans are impressed by Holly’s shrinking frame.
When she shared a snap of her This Morning outfit on Instagram, many of her followers piled in to point out how much weight she’s lost.
“Lost ur curves,” noted one, while another wrote: “Gorgeous lady but lost a little bit too much weight now.”
But others stood up for the TV presenter, with one telling her critics: “Hate when people feel the need to tell someone they think they’ve lost too much weight! You can’t win, you’re either too fat or too thin. Just f*** off, holly looks amazing all the time.”
It came after Nadia Sawalha ‘s awkward live gaffe about Holly’s weight on Loose Women.
Earlier this month, Holly and her co-host Phillip Schofield were coming to the end of their show when they cut to the Loose Women studio to find out what was coming up on their episode.
But Nadia and her co-stars didn’t seem to know they were already live.
As they laughed among themselves, Nadia was heard exclaiming: “Holly Willoughby’s disappearing!”
Both presenters looked stunned by Nadia’s on-air remark, as Phillip suddenly shouted: “Cue, cue!”
Ruth Langsford quickly tried to cover up the awkward moment, telling them: “You caught us by surprise there.
